Prince William Plans to Join COP30 Climate Summit in South America
The Prince of Wales plans to participate in the United Nations climate conference in South America during November, according to the royal household.
The father and son duo made a joint appearance on Thursday evening at a reception leading up to the climate summit, which is set to be held in the Amazonian city of Belém.
The King and Prince were present at the Natural History Museum reception, marking an noteworthy combined presence at a pre-COP30 gathering organized in partnership with the British authorities.
Climate Leadership Commitment
King Charles has been a consistent supporter of environmental conservation - and the Prince of Wales has taken on the baton, with his own environmental prize initiative, which will be taking place in South America before the UN meeting.
Official representatives have characterized Prince William's attendance at the upcoming climate summit as taking on an significant responsibility in "environmental negotiations".

The King and Prince of Wales, making a joint entrance in the state Bentley, were introduced to attendees such as conservation experts, researchers, climate change campaigners, foreign representatives and politicians.
