Reports indicate that beloved actors Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson are set to appear once again in the newest chapter of the Hunger Games film series, titled The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping. The project is now in the works.

The duo are slated to play Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark, the characters they made famous. Industry whispers indicate their appearance will probably be featured in a future-set scene, given that the original saga concluded with their characters living in peace.

Sunrise on the Reaping is adapted from a newly published work by series creator Suzanne Collins. It serves as the second prequel film after 2023's The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes. For this project is Francis Lawrence, who was behind nearly all the previous films in the series.
